American Packaging Corporation was named a finalist for the National Confections Association’s Ruby Award for Supplier Innovation for the development of Nestle Canada's Smarties confectionary brand pouch. The Smarties pouch is a FSC-Certified paper pouch replacing traditional film based packaging, while still meeting all of Nestlé Canada’s stringent performance requirements. Founded in 2018, the Ruby Award is presented to suppliers that have enhanced the confectionery industry through breakthrough technologies and innovations.
